The best new vegan options to try this Veganuary


You may know that this month is Veganuary and there has never been a better time to get involved. If you’re interested in switching to a vegan or vegetarian diet or perhaps just want to reduce your meat intake, you’re in luck. January is the perfect time to get involved and pick up some meat-free alternatives as lots of supermarkets and brands are releasing new ranges to coincide with the new year.

 

We’ve put together a list of some of the tastiest new options hitting the high-street.

Wicked

 

Tesco’s Wicked range is known for its fresh, healthy, tasty plant-based meals and snacks and has just announced a new range that includes some sweet treats such as jam doughnuts, double trouble chocolate cookies, wild blueberry and chocolate muffins and super cinnamon scrolls. Not the best for any New Year dieters, but they sure sound amazing!

 

M&S Plant Kitchen range

 

M&S have launched a new Plant Kitchen range that includes everything from fresh baked chocolate cookies, vegan steak bakes, ready meals, strawberry cheescake and a New York style vegan beef pretzel roll which looks unbelievable!

 

Sainsbury’s Plant Pioneers range

 

Sainsbury’s own vegan brand Plant Pioneers has various new items dropping this Veganuary including a spicy no-meat pizza, no-egg bites, and no-pork-belly bao buns. There are also tons of other tasty options already available!

 

Costa

 

Costa have just released a new BBQ vegan-chicken panini which is a must-try for any vegans and non-vegans alike. Super tasty!

 

Subway

 

After unveiling their vegan meatball sub last year, Subway have now released a  vegan TLC (Tastes Like Chicken) sub, which is seriously good!

 

Dominos

 

Dominoes have started offering new vegan options, with their non-dairy cheese already a huge hit among the vegan community. This Veganuary they’ve just dropped the Chick-Ain’t pizza and vegan nuggets, which looks great and is sure to be just as popular!

 

Oggs brownie and millionaire bites

 

Oggs are without a doubt the tastiest vegan friendly cakes on the high-street and they’ve just released brownies and millionaire bites to their range which already includes various cakes like chocolate fudge, Victoria sponge, salted caramel and lemon drizzle. 

 

Heinz

 

And finally for any mayo lovers out there, Heinz are now fully entering the vegan Mayo market, having just announced a new range that includes a regular mayo, garlic & chilli. Tastes just like the real thing!
