International Women’s Day 2021

International Women’s Day is marked each year on 8 March
. It is a day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women throughout history.

We are getting involved through a series of events, by sharing your stories and by raising awareness of the opportunities and resources available to all women in our Herts community.

We are also supporting this year's theme which is Choose To Challenge. Everyone can get involved by showing their support and solidarity. Raise your hand to show you’re in and that you choose to challenge and call out inequality.

Strike the Choose To Challenge pose and share your photo with us by emailing internalcomms@herts.ac.uk. Also share on social media, don’t forget to tag us @uniofherts and use #ChooseToChallenge #IWD2021 to encourage further people to commit to helping forge an inclusive world.
